Getting the rewards for a bold captaincy pick is a sweet feeling for Fantasy Premier League managers, but in the case of Gameweek 17, it would be particularly brave to go against Mohamed Salah (£13.1m).
The Liverpool star, who is the Premier League's top scorer with 14 goals this season, is 52 points ahead of his nearest challenger in the FPL points standings, with a massive 160.
In the latest FPL Show, expert Mark McGettigan of @FPLGeneral, says the risk of getting left behind by your rivals by going against Salah for his home match against 19th-placed Newcastle United is too high.

"I would love to be more exciting, but it's just hard not to go for Salah, particularly as his ownership is extremely high," McGettigan said of the 73.3 per cent-owned Fantasy midfielder.
"It's just really dangerous not to do it because as we've seen, you know, a couple of weeks ago, when people captained Kai Havertz over him, it can derail your season, and it can take quite a long time to recover from that."
