The Scout’s panel of experts discuss which premium forwards to target and the best budget enablers to help Fantasy Premier League managers afford them.
Tom Cantle (@WGTA_FPL)
There's one premium forward worth owning and that's Harry Kane (£12.4m). Although Tottenham Hotspur were beaten by Manchester United, Kane delivered again. Cheap midfielders like Gabriel Martinelli (£5.3m) can help enable buying the England striker, who will likely be well captained in the reduced Gameweek 30.
Paul Gee (@FPLPaulGee)
The premium forwards have started scoring to live up to their price tags. I would go with either Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.2m) or Kane. The latter is more appealing as he has a Gameweek 30 fixture and is sure to start.
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)
It's worth trying to get Kane and using a few cheap players like Martinelli, Bukayo Saka (£6.6m), Dejan Kulusevski (£6.2m) or Anthony Gordon (£4.5m) as a fifth midfielder to enable this.
Holly Shand (@HollyShand)
Premium forwards are viable once again and, in a position that's struggled all season, we should embrace Kane and Ronaldo’s form. Kane is back to his brilliant best, having a high quantity of shots and converting those chances.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
Kane has returned to the form that made him an essential part of FPL managers’ plans last term. He has great fixtures for the end of the season, as well as a match in Gameweek 30 and another to be rescheduled.
There are also plenty of value players such as Jacob Ramsey (£4.8m) in midfield who allow managers to invest in the Spurs forward without too much disruption to the rest of their teams.
