Brighton & Hove Albon Under-18s striker Aaron Connolly scored twice on his Premier League 2 Division 2 debut as the Seagulls beat West Ham United 3-0 at their training complex.

Connolly put Brighton ahead in the seventh minute. The lead was doubled 12 minutes after the break when Hammers defender Declan Rice deflected Dylan Barnett's cross into his own net.

Connolly made the match safe in the 74th minute to take the Seagulls up to eighth and leave West Ham holding on to fifth position, the final play-off place.
