Disabled supporters will soon enjoy a greater matchday experience at The Hawthorns, as West Bromwich Albion have started redeveloping their stadium to improve accessibility and fan experience.
“We are determined to provide facilities that all supporters can use and enjoy,” director of operations Mark Miles told wba.co.uk.

As well as general improvements made to facilities and parking, more disabled fans will get the chance to enjoy matches from the stands.
West Brom will increase the number of wheelchair bays available from 145 to 171, while disabled fans will, for the first time, be able to watch the action from the West Stand.
Visiting disabled fans will also have access to more bays after the improvements under the recommendation of the Accesibility Stadia Guide.
When complete it will enhance the matchday experience for disabled fans at West Brom, who currently also provide radio commentary for the visually impaired, emailed programmes and guide dog facilities.
