Tackles
Following his arrival in the summer of 2022, Joao Palhinha made an instant impact at Fulham, helping them to an impressive 10th-place finish after being promoted from the Championship.
The midfielder played 35 times in his debut season, producing 148 tackles as he showed how important he was to Marco Silva's side.
Other players who shone include Moises Caicedo whose display helped Brighton & Hove Albion qualify for Europe for the first time. And Casemiro who played a huge part in Manchester United ending six-year trophy drought and helping them secure a return to the UEFA Champions League.

Blocks
Though Everton endured a tough season, James Tarkowski was arguably one of their shining lights in 2022/23, producing 76 blocks in the campaign.
He played every minute of the campaign and kept nine clean sheets as the Toffees secured their Premier League status.
Ben Mee also had a fantastic debut season for Brentford, producing 39 blocks as they enjoyed an outstanding campaign, finishing ninth.
