The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts discuss whether to keep or sell Bruno Fernandes (£8.5m) and Marcus Rashford (£9.0m).

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

As a Fernandes owner, I am really unsure what to do with him. The underlying numbers look good, with seven goal attempts and seven chances created in the first two matches. However, with so many £6.5m midfielders I like and the ability to upgrade a forward, the temptation to sell is real.

I will likely hold for the match against Nottingham Forest as he got a goal and an assist against them in their last meeting. But if I had both him and Rashford, I would likely sell one of them.

While Manchester United in general look a little behind on fitness, they did match Tottenham Hotspur for xG (Expected Goals) on Saturday. They simply didn't take their chances. I would be patient with them, especially with a prime home match against Forest coming up next.

Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)

I'm doubled up on the Man Utd midfielders. Even though the home fixture against Forest is good on paper, the Red side of Manchester have not started well, so I'm looking to move Fernandes to Phil Foden (£7.6m) this week.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

Rashford and especially Fernandes could have been rewarded with points so far so I think it's best to keep both for one more week. It's not uncommon for teams to take a few weeks before clicking.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

They're both worth at least one more fixture, especially ahead of a match against Forest at home. The Old Trafford faithful will demand a response and Fernandes in particular has been unlucky not to grab some FPL points as he's underachieved his Expected Goal Involvement statistic (xGI).

Holly Shand (@HollyShand)

We bought Man Utd midfielders with the first three Gameweeks in mind, so it feels a bit premature to sell them ahead of Forest at home. Out of the two of them, Rashford is the easier sell while he isn't playing in his optimal position.

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)

I'm doubled up and strongly tempted to sell one of them. But due to the fixture, I would suggest that if you have other fires to put out then that would be the priority. At the moment, I am leaning towards selling Fernandes over Rashford due to the latter having the higher ceiling for points.

Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)

If you only have one of them, holding for Forest at home makes sense. The issue arises maybe if you own both. I wouldn't worry too much if you're in this situation. But if selling one facilitates another move that you're very keen on making and frees up the money for it, then I'm not against it.

Ali Jahangirov (@FPLGunz)

I own both and find it hard to sell before a good fixture against Forest in front of the home crowd. Man Utd are under pressure to bounce back and the match against Spurs has proven they can still create chances. I will most likely stick for one more Gameweek and decide after.

Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral

I've got both Rashford and Fernandes so it's been a frustrating start to the season. But I'll be keeping the faith for one more week when it's a favourable fixture at home to Forest.
