Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Ramsey has joined Burnley, becoming the Clarets' second signing in 24 hours and their 11th new player of the summer transfer window.
Hours after confirming a move that saw Anderlecht defender Hannes Delcroix reunite with Vincent Kompany at Turf Moor, Burnley announced Ramsey's move from Villa on a five-year deal.
"I’m absolutely buzzing," 20-year-old Ramsey told the club's official website. "I have been waiting to be a Burnley player for a while now and I’m really happy it’s all officially done now. I can’t wait to get started.

“I can’t wipe my smile off my face. When you come to a new club you want the lads to welcome you in and everyone here has done that straight away. It’s been really easy to settle, everyone has been amazing.”
Ramsey, the younger brother of Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey, spent the first half of last season on loan at Norwich City, where he scored three goals and assisted a further three in 18 league appearances.
He was recalled by Villa in January and spent the second half of 2022/23 on loan at Middlesbrough, netting five times and assisting once in 11 Championship matches.

A product of Villa's Academy, Ramsey has been capped by England at every level from Under-16 to U20 level and was part of the U19s squad that won the UEFA European Championship last year.
Ramsey will hope to get his first ever taste of Premier League action on Sunday 27 August when Burnley host his former club Villa at Turf Moor.
