The Scout highlights the players who can offer managers in Fantasy Premier League huge returns over the upcoming period.
Erling Haaland (Man City) £14.1m
Manchester City’s Norwegian has justified his huge 91 ownership and £14.1m price tag in Fantasy by immediately storming to the top of the player standings.
Haaland’s 20 shots and 19 shots in the box are both more than any other player this season, showing why he is the go-to captain for millions of managers each Gameweek.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £12.5m
Liverpool’s Egyptian has only one blank in 14 outings since a change of formation last season and is about to embark on a run of opponents that can lift him to the top of the midfield standings.
According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), five of Salah’s next seven matches score only two.
Liverpool's next seven matches
GW | Opponent | FDR | GW | Opponent | FDR |
5 | Wolves (A) | 2 | 9 | Everton (H) | 2 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
6 | West Ham (H) | 2 | 10 | Nott'm Forest (H) | 2 |
7 | Spurs (A) | 3 | 11 | Luton (A) | 2 |
8 | Brighton (A) | 3 |
James Maddison (Spurs) £7.8m
The playmaker’s 10 key passes, 13 shots and nine shots on target are all team-leading totals for Tottenham Hotspur, with the latter placing second only to the 10 of Haaland among all players this season.
While that marks Maddison out as the go-to Spurs attacker, Son Heung-min (£9.1m) could force a reassessment if he continues to be utilised as a centre-forward by Ange Postecoglou.
Pervis Estupinan (Brighton) £5.3m
Brighton & Hove Albion’s left-back has a goal and two assists in his first four outings, with his total of three attacking returns more than any other defender.
Estupinan’s 12 key passes also lead the way in his position, underlining his major influence on the Seagulls' attack.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) £8.7m
His all-round style of play has made the Arsenal winger the most-owned midfielder in Fantasy, found in 66 per cent of squads.

Saka has produced 10 shots in the box and 14 chances created, and is the only midfielder to place among the top three for both statistics.
Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) £6.8m
Four goals in the first four Gameweeks have helped the Brentford star top the midfield standings in Fantasy on 33 points.
Mbeumo’s six big chances also place first in his position, highlighting his goal threat for encounters with Everton, Nottingham Forest and Burnley in the next five Gameweeks.
