The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 7 of 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 BST deadline.

James Ward-Prowse (West Ham) £6.2m

A home match against Sheffield United gives the midfielder the chance to continue his fine debut season for West Ham United.

Ward-Prowse has blanked just once in his first five outings since joining from Southampton over the summer, averaging 6.2 points per match.

His dead-ball delivery could prove particularly effective in Saturday encounter.

Sheff Utd have allowed 38 shots from set-pieces and 31 headed shots, both more than any other team over the first six Gameweeks.

Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) £5.6m

The winger is enjoying a productive start to his first full season at Newcastle United.

Gordon has scored twice and supplied three assists, which means he has already been involved in more goals than last season, when he produced four goals and no assists.

A home meeting with Burnley allows the 22-year-old to build on his early-season form.

He has yet to blank at St James’ Park this season, averaging 6.3 points per match.

Alfie Doughty (Luton) £4.4m

The wing-back boasts the strongest all-round potential of any Luton Town defender for their Double Gameweek 7 against Everton and Burnley.

Doughty served notice of his creativity at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, supplying five key passes in the 1-1 draw.

He also fares well when assessed against other defenders in Fantasy in the opening six Gameweeks.

Indeed, his average of 38 minutes per chance created ranks fourth in his position among those players who have clocked 200+ minutes this season.

Zeki Amdouni (Burnley) £5.4m

The Burnley forward scored his first goal of the season against Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 5 to collect eight points.

Amdouni’s influence on the Clarets’ attack for their DGW7 will be even more crucial, as his fellow forward Lyle Foster (£5.0m) is suspended for their first match against Newcastle.

The underlying numbers show Amdouni has been Burnley’s main goal threat since their promotion as Championship winners.

He has produced nine shots in his first five outings, while his four shots on target rank joint-top with Foster.

Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal) £7.9m

After a series of substitute appearances, Arsenal’s fit-again Brazilian made his first start of 2023/24 against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

Jesus could retain his role on the left flank against AFC Bournemouth, with both Gabriel Martinelli (£7.8m) and Leandro Trossard (£6.6m) doubtful due to injury, while Bukayo Saka (£8.7m) has also emerged as an injury concern.

Arteta: Saka is a doubt for Bournemouth trip

An ownership of just 3.4 per cent makes him a tempting differential forward in Fantasy on Saturday.

AFC Bournemouth have conceded 74 shots in the box this season, second only to the 92 of Sheff Utd.
