Manchester City underlined the potency of their attack last weekend with their 6-1 win over AFC Bournemouth. But they now have a run of tough fixtures over the next four Gameweeks, facing Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa in succession.

It seems that Fantasy Premier League managers are uncertain how to respond.

Midfielder Jeremy Doku (£6.6m) is the most-bought player of Gameweek 12 following his goal and four assists against Bournemouth, but Erling Haaland (£14.0m) is the third most-sold Fantasy star ahead of Saturday's 11:00 GMT deadline.

Meanwhile, forward Julian Alvarez (£7.2m) has been bought by over 89,000 managers this Gameweek but is also among the 11 most-sold players.

The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts share their thoughts on what to do with Man City players.

What the experts say
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

Doku's tempting, but the fixtures coming up suggest Pep Guardiola may opt for Jack Grealish (£7.2m) and the "control" he offers in the tougher matches. To that end, it'll be Haaland only for me. I'll be back for Doku in Gameweek 16 when the fixtures look much better, even with Man City's blank in Gameweek 18.

City seem to be coming into their own, as they always do during this period. Outside of Haaland, I don't know if people looking to sell Alvarez are doing the right thing, despite their tough fixtures. They have scored 12 goals in their last three matches and the return of Bernardo Silva (£6.3m) and Rodri (£5.6m) has made a huge impact in that team.

Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)

Along with Haaland, another City attacker should be fine given the amount they can score in any game. Alvarez and Phil Foden (£7.5m) are my favourites despite Doku's haul last week.

Man City are close to being fixture-proof, so we shouldn't be too put off by some trickier games on the horizon. The blank in Gameweek 18 might deter me from committing to more than just Haaland, although Foden, Doku and Kyle Walker (£5.3m) are firmly on my watchlist. A short-term punt for the Luton Town match in Gameweek 16 is very possible.

With tough fixtures and a blank Gameweek 18 on the horizon there is no other Man City player apart from Haaland worth considering for me at the moment. At a push, Alvarez is still a decent option, and hold him if you own him. But none of Doku, Silva or Foden appeal due to potential minutes risks and other competing attractive midfield options.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)

I only have Haaland from Man City at the minute and with four challenging fixtures to come, I am planning to only have him for the next few weeks. However, after the blank in Gameweek 18, a move on a Man City defender such as Walker, as well as Foden to triple up on the reigning champions seems wise.
