For Mohamed Salah scoring a milestone goal was made special mainly because it inspired Liverpool to a crucial victory.
The Egyptian scored his 150th Premier League goal and his 200th for Liverpool with an equaliser against 10-man Crystal Palace that helped the Reds to three vital points at Selhurst Park that took them top of the league.

“The most important thing was that we won the game,” Salah told TNT Sports. “It's a great feeling. I'm happy for the record and that we won the game.”
Liverpool’s winner came from substitute Harvey Elliott, who said that his long-range finish was inspired by watching Salah in training.
“My finish today just sums up what I've learned off him,” Elliott said. “If I spoke about the influence he's had on me then everyone would get bored!”
Salah said a competitive spirit at the training ground with Elliott has helped them both develop and that the 20-year-old is one of a group of younger players who are learning from senior team-mates such as himself.
“He's a good kid,” Salah said of Elliott. “He's learning. I like to push him in the gym. He will have a good career.
“I see the mentality to keep fighting until the end. We keep doing that. We have a new team now because there's six or seven players. We need to give them advice. They're learning a lot and they're really nice.”
And after a win that took Liverpool top of the table he sees signs of a fighting spirit within his team similar to that which won the 2019/20 Premier League title.
“I take that from 2019, I think there are similarities but, of course, the other guys also achieve a lot – we need to give them their credit," he said. "But I'm sure we can do something special this year.”

“We’ve been carrying round a shirt with ‘200’ on the back for two weeks!” the Liverpool manager said. “So now we can give it to him. It was a great moment in the dressing-room. A special number for a special player.
“I am really pleased for him now that it is off the shoulder for him. We are all human beings and when we get close to something the mindset changes. So this goal was vital for us, obviously.
“He’s always a threat and that is why he has these numbers.”
