A home encounter with Sheffield United gives Leon Bailey (£5.6m) the chance to extend his consistent run of form in Gameweek 18 of Fantasy Premier League.

The Aston Villa winger has produced attacking returns in each of the last four Gameweeks, earning 23 points on the back of two goals and two assists.

Bailey is one of three Villa players selected in a team who line up in a 3-5-2 formation, joined by goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez (£5.1m) and forward Ollie Watkins (£8.7m).

Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) is handed the armband, while Son Heung-min (£9.8m) is named vice-captain.

Gameweek 18 Scout Selection
Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) £5.1m

Villa's goalkeeper has kept clean sheets against Manchester City and Arsenal in his last two home outings, amassing 19 points. Martinez hosts a Sheff Utd side who have scored only four goals in away matches all season, the worst record in the Premier League.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) £8.2m

Liverpool’s right-back entertains Arsenal on the back of a single blank in his last nine appearances. Alexander-Arnold’s 21 key passes and six big chances created over the last four Gameweeks are both league-leading totals.

Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) £6.9m

The Newcastle United right-back’s delivery from dead-ball situations can earn him another bumper haul at Luton Town. Trippier’s opponents rank among the bottom three sides for conceding both headers and shots from set-pieces this season.

Pedro Porro (Spurs) £5.5m

Tottenham Hotspur’s Spaniard offers strong potential at both ends of the pitch at home to Everton. Porro has combined six assists with five clean sheets this season, producing returns in 11 of his 16 appearances.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £13.2m

The Liverpool star's underlying numbers suggest he can bounce back from his first home blank of the season last weekend. Salah’s 15 shots, 11 shots in the box, eight shots on target and 12 key passes each put him among the top four players in Fantasy over the last four Gameweeks.

Son Heung-min (Spurs) £9.8m

Although he faces an Everton side who have kept four successive clean sheets, the Spurs attacker's potential for huge hauls makes him one of the top captain picks. Son has produced double-figure returns against Man City and Newcastle in the last four Gameweeks.

Mohammed Kudus (West Ham) £6.7m

West Ham United’s Ghanaian hosts Manchester United in his best form of the season. Kudus has four goals and three assists in his last seven outings, producing 25 points in the Hammers’ last two home fixtures.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £5.6m

The Chelsea star is the most-bought midfielder in the Gameweek, earning 260,000+ new owners for his trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Palmer has blanked in only two of his six away starts for the Blues, averaging 6.7 points per appearance over those encounters.

Leon Bailey (Aston Villa) £5.6m

The Jamaican has been involved in a team-leading 67 per cent of Villa’s goals in home matches when selected.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £8.7m

Villa’s frontman is the top transfer target for Gameweek 18, brought in by 430,000+ managers. Watkins has 10 attacking returns in home matches this season and will be one of the standout captain options against Sheff Utd.

Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth) £6.8m

The AFC Bournemouth forward can exploit a Nottingham Forest side who have struggled in defence recently. Solanke’s hosts have conceded at least twice in four of their last six matches.
