The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 19, ahead of the deadline on Tuesday 26 December at 11:00 GMT.
What the experts say
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
Some good options this week, but I'll likely play "safe" with Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) at Burnley. I can't ignore Dominic Solanke's (£6.9m) form though, and a plum home fixture against Fulham might be a differential I don't want to ignore, on the back of his superb performance and hat-trick against Nottingham Forest.
Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)
Salah will likely be my captain against Burnley. I'm still unsure about Erling Haaland's (£13.9m) fitness. He might be on the bench even if fit.
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg)
Bukayo Saka (£9.0m) has the armband at the moment but Callum Wilson (£7.9m) is tempting against Nott'm Forest. A late switch to such a differential could reap huge rewards.
Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)
I'm considering both Salah and Saka as my Gameweek 19 captain. Ordinarily I prefer to back the player with the home fixture, but Salah's match at Burnley might be too difficult to ignore.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
I will likely play it safe in Gameweek 19 on the back of a captaincy blank with Ollie Watkins (£8.8m) in Gameweek 18. Salah is the obvious pick. However, Son Heung-min (£9.8m) could be a fun pick away at a Brighton & Hove Albion side who haven't kept a clean sheet all season.
