Premier League clubs will be without key players over the next month as African and Asian players look to bring glory to their respective countries.

The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) runs from January 13 to 11 February in Ivory Coast, while the Asian Cup, in Qatar, will take place from 12 January to 10 February.

In total, 39 Premier League players will be away representing their countries.

Senegal are the African nation featuring the most Premier League players with six, including Nottingham Forest's Moussa Niakhate. The defender is one of six Forest players taking part in AFCON, more than any other club in the Premier League.
