Virgil van Dijk says there has been progress in his talks with Liverpool about his future.
The Reds captain, 33, is out of contract at the end of the season and has delivered an update.
"There is progress, yeah," Van Dijk told reporters after Sunday's 3-2 loss at Fulham.
"I don't know [if I'll stay], we'll see. Listen, these are internal discussions and we'll see.
"I love the club, I love the fans and they were there for us again [at Fulham] and we wanted to reward them.
"But I want them to be there on Sunday again [at home to West Ham United] and make the stadium an amazing venue like always for us."
Van Dijk's Liverpool career so far
Since joining from Southampton for a reported fee of £75million in January 2018, Van Dijk has won seven major honours including the 2019/20 Premier League title and 2018/19 UEFA Champions League.
As captain he also led the club to glory in the 2023/24 EFL Cup where he scored the winner in the final against Chelsea, winning the trophy for the second time.
Van Dijk has made 313 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool, of which 228 have come in the league.
He also won the 2018/19 EA SPORTS Player of the Season award.
