The Scout is tipping five players for big success in Gameweek 21 of Fantasy Premier League ahead of Friday’s 18:15 GMT deadline.

Bernardo Silva (Man City) £6.5m

The Portuguese's form on the road suggests he will be a key figure for Manchester City’s trip to Newcastle United.

Silva has delivered 57 points in away matches in 2023/24 Fantasy, second only to the 61 of Erling Haaland (£13.9m) among team-mates.

His ability to create big chances has been a standout feature in those contests. Silva has supplied eight such opportunities, at least double the total of any other Man City player. As a result, he has produced all four of his assists this season in away matches.

The midfielder’s recent displays indicate his all-round prospects for attacking returns have improved.

Indeed, Silva has scored in each of Man City’s last two road trips, amassing 22 points.

Pervis Estupinan (Brighton) £4.9m

The Brighton & Hove Albion left-back has wasted no time in reminding managers of his attacking potential since returning from injury.

Estupinan has scored in two of the Seagulls’ last three matches in all competitions, including a goal against Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 19.

His strike in that 4-2 win over Spurs took the Ecuadorian’s tally to two goals and three assists in only eight appearances in 2023/24 Fantasy.

In a season where clean sheets have been hard to come by, Brighton’s upcoming run of opponents suggest Estupinan's attacking output can make him a crucial figure in managers’ defences for many Gameweeks to come.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), seven of their next eight matches score only two, including their home encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers in Gameweek 21.

Ben Brereton (Sheff Utd) £5.0m

A kind upcoming schedule for Sheffield United gives the Chile star, classified as a midfielder in Fantasy, the chance to impress after arriving on loan from Spanish club Villarreal.

Three of the Blades’ next four matches score two in the FDR, including their home match against West Ham United in Gameweek 21.

Brereton has endured a frustrating first season in Spain, blanking in each of his 14 league appearances.

Nonetheless, his record of 36 goals and seven assists in his final two seasons at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship suggests he can help improve Sheff Utd’s attacking prospects.

They have scored only 15 goals this season, at least five fewer than any other side.

Malo Gusto (Chelsea) £4.2m

At a cost of just £4.2m, the Chelsea defender has the fixtures to offer excellent short-term value in Fantasy.

According to the FDR, three of the Blues’ next four matches score just two, which includes home meetings with Fulham and Wolves.

Gusto’s displays at Stamford Bridge suggest he can deliver a big haul against the Cottagers on Saturday.

He has produced all three of his assists this season across his five starts in home encounters.

Lyle Foster (Burnley) £4.8m

The Burnley forward is expected to recover from a minor foot issue ahead of the home fixture against Luton Town on Friday evening.

After taking time out to receive help for mental-health issues, Foster has underlined his importance to the Clarets recently, producing a goal and an assist across their last three league matches.

Indeed, he has proven one of the most consistent forwards in Fantasy this season, with attacking returns in seven of his 11 appearances.

That includes a goal and nine points in Foster’s previous meeting with Luton in Gameweek 7.

Remember, the Gameweek 21 deadline is now at 18:15 GMT on Friday 12 January
