Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed a deal with Danish club FC Nordsjaelland to sign Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old will join on a five-year contract until June 2029, having made 29 appearances so far this season for Nordsjaelland, scoring four goals and being credited with five assists.
Osman joined Nordsjaelland from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and made his senior debut for the Danish club in February 2023. He follows in the footsteps of Simon Adingra, who also started at the Right to Dream Academy before moving to Nordsjaelland and then Brighton.
Brighton's technical director David Weir told the club's official website: “We’re looking forward to the opportunity of working with Ibrahim.
“He’s a young and exciting prospect, but for now it’s important that we give him the space to focus fully on Nordsjaelland, where he is enjoying a good season.
“Once the current season is over and he’s had the opportunity to rest during the summer, we will bring him into our environment where he will get the time and support he needs to settle here in England.”
