Investing in Arsenal's in-form picks has proved a very profitable tactical for managers in Fantasy Premier League recently.
In a season where most defenders are struggling for clean sheets, should managers double up on the league's best rearguard?
Or is it wiser to own two of their in-form attackers instead?
Here, The Scout's panel of experts have their say on Mikel Arteta's side ahead of Saturday's 13:30 GMT deadline.

Double Arsenal defence makes so much sense and those that went there have been rewarded of late. Gabriel (£5.2m) and Bukayo Saka (£9.1m) feel obvious, but if funds allowed, I would complement them with William Saliba (£5.7m). Regrettably as a Pedro Porro (£5.7m) seller last week I was £0.1m short of buying the Frenchman, who again banked a clean sheet last time out. Saka, Gabriel and then one of Martin Odegaard (£8.4m), Saliba or David Raya (£5.0m) are the optimal three for me. Arsenal's defensive numbers are superb this season, so I don't see myself moving away from double defence anytime soon.

I currently have Saka and Saliba. I'm debating whether to double up in defence with Gabriel or in attack with Odegaard. At the moment I fancy Gabriel as there are so many attacking assets that I want from other teams. While I think Odegaard is good, James Maddison (£8.0m), Richarlison (£7.1m), Phil Foden (£8.1m) or Anthony Gordon (£6.1m) are just as viable and are cheaper. But I am mindful that if Chelsea progress in the FA Cup then Arsenal will have a Blank Gameweek 29 (BGW29), which might put me off the triple up until Gameweek 30.

Saka is essential right now, so he will be key for anyone targeting Arsenal. The defence is looking solid, too, so the second and third options would be Saliba and Gabriel, who have also shown they have a goal in them, with Arsenal looking dangerous from corners.

Saka is bang in form right now, so is the best pick and worth the premium outlay over everyone else. I'm doubled up in defence with both Gabriel and Saliba. They are the league’s best defence, boasting the lowest Expected Goals Conceded (xGC) so far. The fact they also have a match in Blank Gameweek 26 (BGW26) helps me navigate what is a challenging-looking week in Fantasy.

Gabriel and Saka are obvious players to own. Both have had incredible points returns lately and will likely be season-keepers. Doubling up on the defence looks shrewd, as Saliba offers returns at both ends of the pitch, but why not also take a look at Odegaard? He has two double-digit hauls in the last two outings and plays Sheffield United and Brentford in the coming weeks, where I can see the Norwegian producing more returns.
