Shearer heading to Nashville
Premier League all-time leading goal-scorer and Hall of Fame inductee Alan Shearer will be heading to the Music City to join fans for the family friendly-event, hosted on-location by NBC Sports’ Studio Team of Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard.
Alan Shearer is the Premier League’s record goal-scorer having netted 260 goals during his career. He won three Golden Boots during his time in the Premier League, scoring 34 goals for Blackburn Rovers in the 1994/95 season to help them win the title. This will be his seventh Premier League Mornings Live appearance.
“I am looking forward to heading out to Nashville for the next Premier League Mornings Live fan fest," Shearer. "The event is always a brilliant opportunity for passionate football fans to come together and support their teams, watch some great matches and enjoy lots of free family-friendly activities. I look forward to seeing you all in Music City.”
Former Premier League Champion and Nike athlete Daniel Sturridge, who made 218 competition appearances and scored 76 League goals will also be in attendance for the weekend, alongside former Tottenham Hotspur captain and current Club Ambassador, Ledley King, and Brentford club legends Paul Buckle, Gary Blissett and Marcus Gayle.
New opportunities
At the Fan Fest, supporters will have the opportunity to meet club legends and experience many exciting free activities on site. This includes the chance to have a photo with the Premier League Trophy, take on Nike’s fast feet game and play the EA Sports FC24 video game.
Barclays will also be offering fans attending the event the chance to win a "Trip of a Lifetime" to London to watch a Premier League game of their choice.
For the first time at a Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fest, attendees will have the chance to purchase Club merchandise. There will also be an expanded range of Premier League items available, which have been produced with Nike.
