The Scout's panel of experts discuss this week's transfer plans in preparation for Double Gameweek 34 (DGW34) in Fantasy Premier League, according to their chip strategy.
What the experts say
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
When I played the Wildcard in Gameweek 30, my team was set up for DGW34, as well as keeping in mind the potential later Double Gameweeks. I currently have six players with two matches in DGW34, and then eight potentially doubling in Gameweek 37.
I am planning to use my free transfers, two this week and one next, to bring in two or three more DGW34 players. I will also be moving Son Heung-min (£10.1m) to the bench, along with my Chelsea assets, so they can come straight back in for their Double Gameweek 35 (DGW35).
Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)
For those like me not using a chip in DGW34, having two free transfers will be very powerful as we attempt to bring in high-ceiling DGW34 players, so I'm therefore planning to roll my transfer in Gameweek 33.
I'm also open to taking a hit if I feel like I need three transfers in DGW34, with players such as Kai Havertz (£7.3m), Luis Diaz (£7.6m), Darwin Nunez (£7.7m) and even Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.4m) on the wish list, knowing I am dead-ending in DGW34 to Wildcard in DGW35.
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
I brought in Alexis Mac Allister (£5.9m) last week with a view to playing him this week and of course in DGW34. Owned by only 5.2 per cent of managers, he could be a good differential. My team's in good shape for Gameweek 33 right now, so I'm likely to roll the transfer and have two free transfers for DGW34.
Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)
I'm planning to use my Free Hit chip in DGW34, so will be taking advantage of the Doubles as much as possible. Triple Arsenal is a must, as is triple Liverpool. I'm likely to have a couple of AFC Bournemouth players, plus Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.7m) from Wolverhampton Wanderers if he is fit. That'll leave two free slots - most likely from Manchester City - even though they only have one fixture, at Brighton & Hove Albion.
