Planning for the final Gameweeks of 2023/24 Fantasy Premier League can now begin in earnest after the final Double Gameweek of the season was confirmed on Wednesday.

Six teams – Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur – will have a Double Gameweek 37 (DGW37) after the rescheduling of three matches.

Brighton visit Newcastle before entertaining Chelsea, who make their way to Nottingham Forest in their first match.

Man City are away from home on both occasions, visiting Fulham and a Spurs side who play at home to Burnley prior to their meeting with Pep Guardiola’s side.

Conversely, Man Utd have two home matches, entertaining Arsenal and then Newcastle.

FPL managers who have yet to play their Wildcard can use it in Gameweek 35 to load up on those clubs who have two matches in DGW37.

They could then use their Bench Boost chip in DGW37. If every player in a manager's 15-man squad has a DGW37, then using the Bench Boost in that Gameweek would provide the opportunity of scoring points from 30 matches.

Chelsea and Spurs assets are bound to be big attractions, as both clubs also have a Double Gameweek 35.

However, Chelsea only have one match in Double Gameweek 34 (DGW34), while Spurs are the only side to have a Blank Gameweek 34, which is likely to deter managers from tripling up on both teams' key players for now.

If you’ve already played your Wildcard then a Bench Boost in DGW34 could be productive to profit from Arsenal and Liverpool’s pair of matches.

You could then use the Free Hit chip in DGW37, allowing you more time to assess the potential impact of late-season rotation before finalising your line-up for the final Double Gameweek of the season.
