Alexander Isak (£8.4m) has the form and fixtures to extend his prolific run of returns in Double Gameweek 37 (DGW37) of Fantasy Premier League.

The Newcastle United forward hosts Brighton & Hove Albion and visits Manchester United on the back of five goals and an assist in his previous four matches.

Isak is included in a best XI that lines up in a 3-4-3 formation, with Erling Haaland (£14.2m) handed the armband and Cole Palmer (£6.2m) named as vice-captain.

Djordje Petrovic (Chelsea) £4.6m

Three clean sheets in his last five matches has made the Chelsea no 1 a popular pick ahead of his encounters with Nottingham Forest and Brighton. Petrovic is the most-bought goalkeeper in DGW37, earning over 129,000 new owners.

Josko Gvardiol (Man City) £5.1m

Manchester City’s Croatian has markedly upped his attacking output for his visits to Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur. Gvardiol has produced both his goals this season, and both his assists, in the last four Gameweeks, in addition to earning two clean sheets.

Cristian Romero (Spurs) £5.1m

The Argentinian is preferred to his Spurs team-mate Pedro Porro (£5.8m) for their encounters with Burnley and Man City due to his big threat from set-pieces. Romero has scored five goals in 2023/24, more than any other defender in Fantasy.

Dan Burn (Newcastle) £4.7m

The centre-back has helped Newcastle collect a league-high eight clean sheets at home ahead of their match with Brighton. Burn’s aerial threat will also pose big problems against Man Utd, who have conceded a league-high 190 shots at set-pieces.

Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) £10.5m

His all-round influence earns the Man City playmaker a place in the XI ahead of team-mate Phil Foden (£8.4m). De Bruyne has had 17 shots in his side’s last five fixtures, joint-top with Haaland, while his 15 key passes are over twice the total of any other player for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Son Heung-min (Spurs) £9.9m

Spurs’ South Korean delivered double-figure hauls against both his DGW37 opponents earlier this season. Son scored a hat-trick against Burnley to earn 20 points in Gameweek four, then produced a goal, an assist and 10 points against Man City in Gameweek 14.

Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) £6.4m

Newcastle’s wide man has produced eight of his 16 assists this season in his last six matches, also scoring once in that run. Gordon’s 19 key passes in that spell is a team-leading total and places him joint-third among all players in Fantasy.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £6.2m

The midfielder has been the standout asset in Fantasy since making his full debut for Chelsea in Gameweek 7. Palmer has produced 21 goals and 11 assists across that period to tally more than 220 points, with only Bukayo Saka (£9.0m) matching his total figure among all players in the game.

Erling Haaland (Man City) £14.2m

Seven goals, an assist and 44 points in his last four outings underlines why Man City’s Norwegian is expected to be the top captaincy pick for DGW37. Haaland has produced attacking returns in four successive appearances for the first time since Gameweek 6.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle) £8.4m

Isak’s 11 big chances and 22 shots are both identical to Haaland across their last six matches.

Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea) £7.0m

Chelsea’s Senegalese has scored four goals and supplied three assists to total 42 points across his last six appearances. That form has earned Jackson a hefty 373,000+ new owners, second only to the 462,000+ of Haaland among all players in Fantasy.
