In terms of underperforming from Expected Goals (xG) Everton striker Dominic Calvert Lewin endured a tough season.
Not only was it hit by injury, but when he did play, Calvert-Lewin's seven goals were almost six fewer than the goals he was expected to score from the chances he received. In second place was Brennan Johnson, in his debut season for Tottenham Hotspur, while third was Darwin Nunez, who hit the woodwork nine times for Liverpool in 2023/24.
