2023/24 rankings: Which players had the most shots?

We analyse data from the season and see which players were most prolific and best in terms of shooting

After an enthralling Premier League season, we have analysed the key stats powered by Oracle and will show you in a series of articles revealing which players have run furthest or fastest, had the most shots or displayed ruthlessness in front of goal over the course of the last 10 months, not only overall but at each of the 20 clubs.

Shots

Erling Haaland finished the season with 27 goals in 31 Premier League appearances to claim the 2023/24 Golden Boot award, and the Manchester City forward led the way in the total number of shots (including blocks) too, with 121.

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah was close behind, with 114 shots, while Cole Palmer and Dominic Solanke each recorded 109 shots, narrowly ahead of Darwin Nunez and Bukayo Saka, with 108.
