Eberechi Eze (£7.0m) is among the Crystal Palace players who have the schedule to make an immediate impact on the new Fantasy Premier League season.

Palace face Brentford, West Ham United and promoted Leicester City in their opening four matches, as well as visiting Chelsea.

Eze scored in each of his previous meetings with the Foxes and Chelsea, totalling 20 points thanks to a pair of goals and an assist.

His team-mate Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.5m) also looks well-placed to profit from that run.

Mateta, was a major success after the arrival of Oliver Glasner as head coach in Gameweek 25 last season. He produced 13 goals and three assists to collect 105 points, more than any other forward in that period.

Flying start for Forest duo?

Nottingham Forest duo Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood can also get off to a fast start thanks to their kind early fixtures.

They host AFC Bournemouth, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham in the first six Gameweeks, as well as visiting Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Gibbs-White offers a strong all-round option in midfield, having produced five goals and 12 assists in each of the previous two Fantasy campaigns.

Wood, meanwhile, was Forest’s top-scoring player following the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo as head coach in Gameweek 18 last season. The forward netted 11 goals and supplied an assist to collect 95 points, averaging 5.9 points per start across that stretch.

Elsewhere, Southampton have the kindest schedule of the three promoted clubs.

According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), four of their first six matches - against Nott’m Forest, Brentford, Ipswich Town and Bournemouth - score only two.

That's bound to raise interest in Adam Armstrong, who was Saints’ top performer by some margin in 2023/24.

The 27-year-old produced an impressive 24 goals and 13 assists, including his decisive strike in their Championship playoff final win over Leeds United.
