Since 2010, the Premier League and Professional Footballers' Association's Community Fund has enabled clubs across England and Wales to develop and deliver community programmes that are tailored to needs in their local area.

Here, we take a look at the incredible impact of some of these programmes.

Making Sport A Daily Habit (Tottenham Hotspur)

In the shadow of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the communities around it, participants of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to improve their physical and mental health thanks to Tottenham Hotspur Foundation's Making Sport A Daily Habit.

The programme, funded by the PL PFA Community Fund, provides free weekly sessions to inspire and encourage those who who are not usually active to incorporate exercise into their daily routine.

"I've lost a lot of weight," says one participant. "I feel fitter, I feel healthier and I can't thank Tottenham enough for this."

The programme offers a wide variety of free activities, from walking and girls' football to children's sessions and fitness classes.

As well as giving participants the chance to improve their fitness, Making Sport A Daily Habit also brings the local community together in sessions where those taking part can form close bonds and friendships.

"The PL PFA Community Fund has had a massive impact and it has really created a legacy for our people," says Renee Hector, programme co-ordinator for the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

"We are able to deliver a wide range of activities to those hard-to-reach groups. We are able to do our best for the community."
