The Scout doubles-up on five clubs for the best XI for Gameweek 3 of Fantasy Premier League, with Nottingham Forest pair Chris Wood (£6.1m) and Neco Williams (£4.5m) among them.
Wood’s displays under Nuno Espirito Santo suggest he could offer good value in Fantasy at a cost of only £6.1m. The forward has averaged 5.8 points per match since the Portuguese took charge last season, producing 12 goals and an assist across 18 outings.
Meanwhile, right-back Williams has boasted a significant goal threat ahead of a home encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers. His six shots over the first two Gameweeks are more than any other defender in Fantasy.
Wood and Williams take their places in a 3-4-3 formation, with Cole Palmer (£10.5m) handed the armband and Erling Haaland (£15.1m) named vice-captain.
David Raya (Arsenal) £5.5m
Arsenal’s No 1 faces Brighton & Hove Albion at Emirates Stadium on the back of successive clean sheets over the first two Gameweeks. Raya has also collected two save points and four bonus to total 18 points, six more than any Gunners’ defender.
Pau Torres (Aston Villa) £4.5m
Aston Villa’s centre-back looks a strong all-round prospect at both ends of the pitch against Leicester City. Pau’s opponents have conceded 12 headed shots and 15 shots from set-pieces, both more than any other side.
Rico Lewis (Man City) £4.5m
Having started each of the opening two Gameweeks, the defender offers a short term, cut-price route into Manchester City’s defence against West Ham United. Lewis collected six points in his previous away match, a 2-0 win at Chelsea in Gameweek 1.
Neco Williams (Nott’m Forest) £4.5m
The right-back has the schedule to reward managers at both ends of the pitch for a number of Gameweeks. According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), six of Nott’m Forest’s next eight matches score just two.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £10.5m
Having featured out wide in Gameweek 1, Chelsea's talisman got back to his very best last weekend after returning to a central role. Palmer was involved in four of his side’s goals in a 6-2 win at Wolves, scoring once and supplying three assists to claim 17 points.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) £10.0m
Saka's all-round potential makes him one of the top captain candidates for Gameweek 3. The Arsenal winger's six shots rank joint-top for the Gunners this season, while his seven key passes are two more than any team-mate.
Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) £7.0m
A home meeting with promoted Southampton gives the Brentford star the opportunity of more returns at the Gtech Community Stadium. Mbeumo scored and earned nine points at home to Crystal Palace in Gameweek 1.
Noni Madueke (Chelsea) £6.5m
The Chelsea winger will be brimming with confidence after his hat-trick and haul of 20 points in Gameweek 2. Madueke could deliver another double-digit return against a Crystal Palace side who have struggled defensively since Joachim Andersen (£4.5m) rejoined Fulham earlier this month.
Erling Haaland (Man City) £15.1m
Man City’s forward has soared to 60 per cent ownership after his weekend hat-trick against Ipswich Town, making him the most-popular player in Fantasy. Haaland has scored on both of his visits to West Ham, totalling three goals and 19 points in those encounters.
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £9.0m
His record against promoted clubs in away matches last season suggests the Villa star shouldn’t be overlooked as a captaincy option. Watkins averaged 12 points per match in those contests, including hauls of 18 points at Sheffield United and 13 points at Luton Town.
Chris Wood (Nott’m Forest) £6.1m
When selected, Wood has been involved in an impressive 50 per cent of Nott’m Forest’s goals under Nuno.
