Leicester City have announced the signing of midfielder Bilal El Khannouss from Genk, subject to international clearance.
The 20-year-old joins on a four-year deal, becoming the Foxes' eighth signing of the summer.

El Khannouss, who recently helped Morocco to a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, will wear the No 11 shirt.

"It’s always a dream for a young guy like me to play in the Premier League so I’m very excited and I hope to achieve big things here," he told the club's official website.
“I talked with the manager, and I immediately had a good feeling with the club. I’m really excited to meet my team-mates, to make great things with them and I hope win a lot of games too.”
Who is Bilal El Khannouss?
Born in Belgium on 10 May 2004, El Khannouss started his career at Anderlecht before moving to fellow Belgian side Genk in 2019.
He made his professional debut against Mechelen in May 2022, and was in Morocco’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, winning 14 senior caps for the Atlas Lions. El Khannouss previously represented Belgium up to Under-18s level.
The attacking midfielder featured 51 times in all competitions for Genk last season, and was nominated for the 2023 African Young Player of the Year in November.

Leicester's summer signings
The addition of El Khannouss takes Leicester's summer acquisitions to eight, joining Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Michael Golding, Caleb Okoli, Abdul Fatawu, Facundo Buonanotte, Oliver Skipp and Jordan Ayew at King Power.
When could he make his debut?
Leicester fans could get to see their latest recruit in action at home to Aston Villa on Saturday 31 August.
