Liverpool have confirmed that midfielder Harvey Elliott faces a spell on the sidelines after fracturing his foot.
Elliott was forced to withdraw from the England Under-21 squad last Wednesday and missed the matches against Northern Ireland and Austria.

“Harvey is of course a big disappointment for him but not only for him, also for us," Liverpool head coach Arne Slot told the official club website, with reports suggesting the player is out until at least October.
"If he stayed fit he would have had a lot of playing time in the coming fixtures.
"He will work hard to come back in the best way. It is now a chance for someone else."
The setback comes at a busy time for the Reds, who face seven games in 21 days in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and EFL Cup.
Liverpool resume their campaign following the international break with a home match against Nottingham Forest on Saturday before travelling to Italy to face AC Milan on Tuesday.
Liverpool's next five Premier League fixtures
Elliott has endured a frustrating start to the new season, featuring only once as a substitute in the 2-0 win over Brentford.
He made 34 Premier League appearances last season, scoring three goals, but the 21-year-old was set for more opportunities as the schedule ramps up following the international break.
Updates on Chiesa and Mac Allister
Elliott could be replaced in the matchday squad by new signing Federico Chiesa. Offering an update on the new arrival, Slot said: "Chiesa has trained three or four times, so let's see how he does today because we have more than 20 players to choose from."
Alexis Mac Allister was able to train on Thursday, after only appearing as a substitute for Argentina in their 3-0 win over Chile, and Slot expects the midfielder to be available against Forest.
