The injury that ruled Kevin De Bruyne out of Manchester City's match against Arsenal on Sunday is not a "big one", says Pep Guardiola.
De Bruyne took a knock and was taken off at half-time of Man City's goalless draw with Internazionale Milano in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
On Friday Guardiola said De Bruyne was "feeling better" and would be assessed to see if he could face Arsenal. But on Sunday he was absent from Man City's squad.
Guardiola said: "I think it's not a big, big one [injury], but was not able [to play] for today."
Might De Bruyne miss more matches?
Man City's next match is in just two days' time. They host Watford in the third round of the EFL Cup at 19:45 BST on Tuesday. That quick turnaround suggests De Bruyne could be doubtful for that tie.
Their next Premier League match is the early kick-off on Saturday 28 September away to Newcastle United.
