Robert Sanchez's superb reaction stop to deny Nottingham Forest's Jota Silva a last-gasp winner has won October 2024's Premier League Save of the Month award.
Chelsea and Forest were locked at 1-1 as the match at Stamford Bridge entered the 13th minute of stoppage time. Ola Aina then whipped in a cross and Silva's downward header was heading for the bottom corner until goalkeeper Sanchez flung himself low to his right, getting a hand to the ball to palm it away for a corner.

Sanchez's award completes an October awards double for Chelsea, after Nicolas Jackson won the Guinness Goal of the Month.
It is the second time the 26-year-old Spaniard has won the award, having also claimed the September 2023 prize for his acrobatic stop to deny Aston Villa's Nicolo Zaniolo.
No goalkeeper has won the award more times than Sanchez since it was introduced in 2022/23, with his two wins level with Nick Pope, Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale and Andre Onana. Chelsea have won the award three times in that time, also the joint-most, along with Arsenal and Manchester United.
Sanchez claims October's prize after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of experts, topping a shortlist featuring six stunning stops by goalkeepers across the month.
