We could be witnessing the greatest individual season in Fantasy Premier League history after Mohamed Salah (£13.6m) reached 200 points in record time.

It has taken Liverpool's star winger just half a season to reach the Fantasy milestone, beating the previous best by an incredible SIX Gameweeks.

Salah's achievement is even more impressive when you consider that he has achieved his double-century in only 18 matches, due to the postponement of his Gameweek 15 fixture versus Everton.

He is already two-thirds of the way to breaking the record for the most FPL points over a whole season - a record he holds himself after racking up 303 points in 2017/18.

Beyond that, Wayne Rooney's all-time points total of 2,338 is in Salah's sights, although that would undoubtedly require him to sign a new contract with Liverpool and stay in the Premier League beyond next summer.

Liverpool's talisman is currently on 1,977 points over the course of his career.

An EIGHTH 200-point season

Since Fantasy began in 2002/03, a total of 47 different players have registered 200 points or more in a season.

Salah has done so on the most occasions, with 2024/25 Fantasy being the eighth time he's achieved the feat. Second on the list is Frank Lampard, who hit the landmark total six times.

Most 200-point seasons
Player No. of seasons
Mohamed Salah 8
Frank Lampard 6
Harry Kane 5
Thierry Henry 4
Eden Hazard 4

What's truly remarkable, however, is Salah's elite consistency.

Not only is it the eighth season that he's passed a double-century of points, but it's the eighth SUCCESSIVE season - double the longest run of the next-best player.

Both Lampard (2003/4 to 2006/07) and Thierry Henry (2002/03 to 2005/06) had four consecutive seasons with 200 points.

Happy hunting ground at West Ham

Salah reached his latest milestone at one of his favourite hunting grounds.

He scored and supplied two assists to claim a share of the bonus points for a 16-point haul away to West Ham United on Sunday.

In seven starts at the London Stadium, he's now registered four double-figure hauls and 69 points.
