The Scout's panel of Fantasy Premier League experts give their thoughts on who to captain in Gameweek 23 ahead of the deadline at 13:30 GMT on Saturday 25 January.
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)
The combination of Manchester City's 6-0 win over Ipswich Town and Mohamed Salah's (£13.7m) goal against Lille in the UEFA Champions League make me lean towards the Liverpool star for the Reds' home fixture against the Tractor Boys on Saturday. In-form Alexander Isak (£9.5m) is a good option too though, against bottom side Southampton.
Harry Daniels (@FPL_Harry)
It's incredibly close between Isak and Salah, with both in great form playing two of the worst defences in the league. However, Salah's extra point for a goal, combined with Ipswich's defending against City, means I'm backing the Egyptian.

Think this week it comes down to Salah and Isak. Both fixtures have huge upside, but the fact that Salah is a midfielder and playing at home means there is a greater points potential for me. He gets my vote this weekend.
Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL)
Salah has blanked in his last two games, but at home to a promoted team, I can't look past him, even with Isak playing Southampton.
Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick)
There's been a slight drop in form for Salah, but I will be keeping faith with him. Ipswich at home is the perfect fixture to rediscover his shooting boots.
Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice)
Seeing Ipswich ship six to City was an extra reason to give Salah the armband once again. A home fixture for the best player from the best team in the league at the moment already makes a strong case, but add a struggling Ipswich side and surely this isn't a week to overthink it.
Az Phillips (@FPLBlackbox_Az)
Not the most exciting decision, but I'm backing Salah. Liverpool have scored the most goals while Salah has claimed 200+ points already, plus he's facing Ipswich at home! You know the drill.
