After Arne Slot (£1.5m) was shown the red card following the final whistle in the Merseyside derby, here's a reminder of what red cards and/or managerial suspensions mean for the new Assistant Manager chip in Fantasy Premier League.
Yellow and red cards received by managers DO NOT impact their points in Fantasy. These points are purely based on their club’s results.
Any manager who is sent off and receives a suspension from The FA (such as a touchline ban or a stadium ban) is also still able to be selected using the Assistant Manager chip in the subsequent Gameweeks. They will also score points as normal.
