Bruno Fernandes has been named the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for March following a stellar month for Manchester United.

Portuguese midfielder Fernandes was involved in all four goals as Man Utd enjoyed an unbeaten March.

He started the month with a sensational free-kick goal as the Red Devils held second-placed Arsenal to a 1-1 draw. He followed up with two assists - taking him to 50 Premier League assists in total - and another goal in a 3-0 victory at Leicester City.

It is the fifth occasion Fernandes has won the EA SPORTS Player of the Month accolade but the first time in five years, having claimed all four of his previous awards in 2020, when he was honoured in February, June, November and December.

Fernandes has also won three Guinness Goal of the Month awards, meaning that he has now won eight monthly accolades since joining Man Utd in January 2020 from Sporting Lisbon.

Fernandes' latest success moves him joint-third in the all-time Premier League list of winners alongside Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie, and two behind Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and Mohamed Salah, who each have seven.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been voted March 2025's Barclays Manager of the Month, winning the award for the seventh time in his Premier League career.

It is the third time this season that head coach Nuno has claimed the award, having already done so in October and December 2024 as he celebrated his latest success with the Nottingham Forest supporters.

“This is an indication of the amazing support of our fans, at home and away,” Nuno said when receiving the award in front of Forest's fans.

Everything that the players do on that pitch, here at The City Ground and away from home, is because of you. The extra runs, the extra tackles, the goals, everything is because of you. We cannot thank you enough for your support, this award is for you.”

The Portuguese has continued to mastermind Forest's push for a UEFA Champions League place, with his team winning both of their matches in March.

He oversaw a 1-0 win over defending champions Man City before a 4-2 success at Ipswich Town.

Only seven managers have won the award more times than Nuno, who joins Mikel Arteta and Rafa Benitez in the all-time rankings.

Arsene Wenger 15

Nuno has the chance to become only the fourth manager to win at least four Barclays Manager of the Month awards in a single campaign, after Pep Guardiola in 2017/18, Arteta in 2022/23 and Jurgen Klopp in 2019/20, the latter of whom won five.

Nuno has won the award with Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2018, June 2020 and October 2020, with Tottenham Hotspur in August 2021, and now three times with Forest.

He topped a three-man shortlist that included Manchester United's Ruben Amorim and Brighton & Hove Albion's Fabian Hurzeler after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of experts.

Jens Cajuste's brilliant finish against Nottingham Forest has been voted March's Guinness Goal of the Month.

Ipswich Town were trailing 3-0 when Swedish midfielder Cajuste picked up a pass from Jack Clarke, spun past Ryan Yates and took aim from the edge of the penalty area with a superb shot that curled into the top corner beyond the reach of goalkeeper Matz Sels.

Although Ipswich went on to lose the match 4-2, it was a glorious first-ever Premier League goal for the 25-year-old as he becomes the first Ipswich player to win a Premier League monthly award.

Cajuste joins an elite list of only two Swedish players to earn the Guinness Goal of the Month award since it was introduced in 2016/17, along with Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, who became the first when he claimed December 2024's honour with an incredible strike in a 3-3 draw with Liverpool.

Cajuste wins the award after his goal topped a shortlist of eight of the best in March following votes from the public and a panel of experts.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has won March 2025's Premier League Save of the Month award for his incredible stop against Manchester United

With the match at Old Trafford locked at 1-1 and entering the third minute of stoppage time, Raya instinctively parried Bruno Fernandes' initial shot before swiftly getting back to his feet to claw the spinning ball away from the goalline.

It is the second time Raya has earned the monthly award following his success in August 2024, when he denied Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins from close range.

Raya now moves joint-second in the all-time list of winners behind Manchester United's Andre Onana, who has earned the prize on three occasions, since the award started in 2022/23.
