The 2017/18 Premier League International Cup season will begin with a meeting between two returning clubs, as Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United on 31 August.

Liam Manning's West Ham team then face 2015/16 competition winners Villarreal, while defending champions FC Porto visit Reading in their first match of the campaign.

Porto face Arsenal and FC Bayern Munich in Group E, both of whom are making their debuts in the competition. Newcastle United and Legia Warsaw are the other newcomers.

The International Cup consists of 12 Premier League 2 teams and 12 Under-23 sides from elite Academies across Europe, split into six groups of four.

The six group winners and the two best runners-up qualify for the quarter-finals. All knockout ties are one-off matches.
