A stunning goal by Tristan Abrahams helped Norwich City claim a 1-1 draw in Premier League 2 Division 2 with Blackburn Rovers at Carrow Road.

The 18-year-old forward rifled a half-volley into the top corner on 20 minutes, four minutes after Rovers striker Joe Nuttall had headed home Lewis Travis's cross for his seventh goal of the season.

Blackburn captain Lewis Hardcastle was sent off in stoppage time after receiving his second yellow card.

The draw puts second-placed Rovers five points behind Division 2 leaders Middlesbrough. They next play Fulham on 25 September while Norwich, in ninth, travel to Reading on the same day.
