Callum Wright scored one goal and made two more as Blackburn Rovers beat Fulham 4-0 at Leyland to stay second in the Premier League 2 Division 2 table.
The Rovers academy scholar opened the scoring in spectacular style from 30 yards in the ninth minute before setting up Joe Nuttall for his eighth PL2 goal, and ninth in all competitions, to make it 2-0 on the half-hour mark.
Nuttall was injured as he scored and had to leave the field of play on a stretcher – as did Fulham's Isaac Pearce shortly afterwards – meaning there were 14 added minutes to end the first half.
Joe Rankin-Costello (pictured) swept home the third in the 55th minute and also hit the bar with a late penalty, but in-between those incidents Wright's cross was headed in by substitute Lewis Mansell for Rovers' fourth.
Rovers are five points behind leaders Middlesbrough, while Fulham remain 11th – ahead of bottom-placed West Bromwich Albion on goal difference.
