Liverpool moved eight points clear at the top of Division 1 after a 4-1 victory at Sunderland.
The Reds had suffered back-to-back defeats to Sparta Prague in the PL International Cup and Stoke City in the PL Cup but bounced back in style at the Stadium of Light.
Cameron Brannagan put them ahead from the penalty spot and, after Joel Asoro had equalised before half-time, Rhian Brewster, Matthew Virtue-Thick and Ben Woodburn all scored after the break to claim the win.
Liverpool are ahead of Arsenal, who won at Manchester City. Sunderland remain second from bottom.
