Leicester City's Premier League title victory against the odds means that a new name was engraved on the iconic Trophy, one of the most coveted trophies in the sporting world, in May 2016.
Wes Morgan got up close to the Trophy at the Premier League Season Launch ahead of the 2014/15 campaign but the Leicester captain got to touch it for the first time as the winning captain when he was presented it by Leicester's super fan, Steve Worthy, after Saturday's match with Everton.
The Trophy stands 3ft 5in (104cm) tall and 2ft wide and weighs 4st (25.4kg) in total. Of that weight, the base into which the names of the champions are engraved comprises 2.5st.
It was cast by Asprey London, the Crown Jewellers, with the main body of the Trophy made from solid sterling silver. The crown of the Trophy is cast from 24-carat silver gilt.
The base, which carries the names of the champions, is made from Malacite, a semi-precious stone found in Africa, with the green colour of the opaque stone representing the field of play.
The design of the trophy is based on the theme of "The Three Lions of English Football".
Two of the lions are above the handles on either side of the Trophy. When the captain of the title-winning team raises the Trophy, and its gold crown, above his head at the end of the season, he becomes the third lion.
Leicester will receive 40 commemorative medals, with players to have featured in at least five league matches this season to receive one each on the podium after the match.
The remaining medals will be distributed at the discretion of the club.
The medals are made of silver and are 2.25in in diameter.
Ahead Leicester’s trophy celebration against Everton, as well as free pizzas and free beer fans at the King Power Stadium were treated to a spine-tingling performance by the tenor, Andrea Bocelli.
