When it comes to playing in the Premier League, Sergio Aguero is not only one of the best players at Manchester City, but also within the competition.
But the winner of the Premier League Golden Boot last season says his FIFA 16 player is possibly even better than he is in real life.
EA SPORTS research found that Aguero scored 36.7m goals in FIFA 15 last season, a little more than the Man City striker’s PL total of 26 in 2014/15. But he revealed that has yet to replicate a goal on FIFA 16 as spectacular as he has achieved on the pitch.
When asked how good he is on FIFA 16, Aguero replied, with a laugh: "I don’t know. I think I'm better at FIFA than in real life!
"I always make goals, always the same way, but I have not done an amazing goal, one that you can say, 'Wow! What a great goal!' "
Aguero was speaking on behalf of EA SPORTS FIFA 16 as part of their partnership with the National Football Museum’s “Pitch to Pixel” exhibit, the first exhibition dedicated to the work of football gaming.
At the exhibition visitors can see a 3D version of Aguero’s head that highlights the greater level of authenticity within the game and the motion-caption suit that Aguero wore to film the FIFA 16 “Play Beautiful” TV commercial.
When asked who was the best player at Man City on the game, Aguero did not look far for the answer.
“We do not play much, but I don’t believe anyone beats me; I think I'm unbeatable,” he said.
