Sixteen-year-old Folarin Balogun put Arsenal level on points with Premier League 2 Division 1 leaders Leicester City with a stoppage-time equaliser against title rivals Liverpool at Prenton Park.
Despite the best efforts of goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, the striker came off the bench to earn a 1-1 draw in the second minute of added time.
After a goalless first half, Liverpool took the lead on 63 minutes when Tony Gallacher's strike found the top corner.
Kelleher made a superb stop from Josh Dasilva to deny Arsenal, but there was little he could do to when Balogun followed up Jordi Osei-Tutu's saved effort.
Arsenal are behind leaders Leicester on goal difference with two matches left, while Liverpool are two points further back after missing the chance to join the Foxes on 36 points.
