Mohamed Salah equalled a Premier League record on Saturday as he added another goal to his historic debut season at Liverpool.
The Egyptian lifted in his 31st PL goal of 2017/18 to put Liverpool 2-0 up at West Bromwich Albion, before the home side fought back to claim a 2-2 draw.
Salah's total of 31 goals is the joint-highest by a player in a 38-match Premier League season, equalling Alan Shearer, in 1995/96, Cristiano Ronaldo in 2007/08, and former Reds striker Luis Suarez in 2013/14.
He also has three matches left, at home to Stoke City, a visit to Chelsea and against Brighton & Hove Albion, to equal the all-time PL season record of 34.
That record is held by Andrew Cole (1993/94) and Shearer (1994/95), when 22 teams competed in a 42-match PL campaign.
On Saturday Salah also became the fifth player in Premier League history to register 40+ goal involvements in a single season.
With 31 goals and nine assists, the Liverpool winger joins Shearer (47 goal involvements in 1994/95), Cole (47 in 1993/94), Thierry Henry (44 in 2002/03) and Suarez (43 in 2013/14), in the exclusive club.
