We talked to former Premier League players who faced three of the best teams of the Premier League era: Manchester United (1998/99), Arsenal (2003/04) and Chelsea (2004-06).
And we asked how those sides compared with the record-breaking 2017/18 champions Manchester City.
Leon Osman
“Man City were outstanding, they were relentless in their pursuit of winning,” says Osman.
But if he had to pick a best team of the four the former Everton midfielder would cross Manchester for his choice.
“I would go for United’s treble-winning team. To have accomplished what they did… in three different top competitions, and to come out winners in all three, is an unbelievable achievement.”
