2009: Wigan Athletic 2-3 Birmingham City
Birmingham City extended their unbeaten run to six league matches with victory over Wigan Athletic.
They fell behind to a Charles N’Zogbia strike but hit back with three goals in the space of 11 second-half minutes, Sebastian Larsson scoring either side of a Christian Benitez effort.
Jordi Gomez’s late goal for Wigan wasn’t enough for the hosts as Birmingham City left the DW Stadium with three points.
Victory moved Birmingham up to ninth on 21 points, while Wigan were left in 14th place on 17 points, four above the relegation zone.
2011: Fulham 1-0 Liverpool
Clint Dempsey’s late winner gave Fulham victory against 10-man Liverpool and ended the visitors’ hope of a seventh away league win.
The sides went into the break level - the seventh time in 14 PL matches that Fulham had finished the half 0-0.
Jay Spearing was then dismissed and Fulham capitalised in the 85th minute, Dempsey finishing when Jose Reina spilled Danny Murphy’s strike.
The result left Fulham in 13th place on 15 points while Liverpool dropped to seventh on 23 points, five points outside the top four.
