Two first-half goals from Juan Pablo Angel set Aston Villa on their way to victory in the West Midlands derby against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Colombian struck in the 21st and 23rd minutes and, although Wolves hit back through Alex Rae, Gareth Barry made it 3-1 early in the second half.

Victory lifted them out of the bottom three into 16th place on 17 points, one point away from danger, while Wolves remained at the foot of the table, five points away from safety.
