Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara denied Brighton & Hove Albion the chance of a winning start to life in Premier League 2 Division 1.
Grabara saved from Viktor Gyokeres, Max Sanders and Mathias Normann as Brighton impressed in their first match since promotion via the play-offs.
Sheyi Ojo and Matty Virtue had the best chances for Liverpool, last season's runners-up, but they could not beat Hugo Keto in the Brighton goal.
Brighton debutant Normann was sent off for a second yellow card on 88 minutes at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre.
