Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) showed his Fantasy Premier League power last weekend, with his hat-trick and 21 points at AFC Bournemouth but is he worth his place as the most expensive player in the game?
Or would the 36 per cent of FPL managers who own the Liverpool star spend their money better elsewhere?
In the latest FPL Show, FPL experts and husband-and-wife pair, Lee and Sam Bonfield of @FPLFamily, are divided on whether Salah is a must-have.
"This season, if you look at the data from the previous season, he's not far off where he was," Sam says. "And in the game at the weekend he looked like the Salah of last season, so he's well worth the money."
'Too much outlay'
Lee is pleased to own Raheem Sterling (£11.6m), who is offering more for the money with an average of 9.1 FPL points per million compared with Salah's 8.5.
He believes Liverpool value lies elsewhere.
"Salah's not worth £13.0m," Lee says. "It's too much outlay for him.
"Up until the four goals at Bournemouth we were talking about Liverpool being a different beast this year, not being as gung-ho.
"I like Xherdan Shaqiri [£7.1m]. If you want a route into their attack he's a nice, safe way in."
