Jurgen Locadia scored the only goal as Brighton & Hove Albion beat Everton 1-0.
After an even first half, Jordan Pickford produced a superb reflex save to prevent Florin Andone's close-range header from hitting the back of the net.
But in the 59th minute the Everton goalkeeper was beaten, when Locadia scored after Solly March's corner ball hit Toffees midfielder Andre Gomes and fell into his path.
Everton responded as Richarlison's effort ricocheted off the post and wide, but Brighton held on for the three points.
Brighton remain in 13th on 25 points. Everton drop to 10th with 27.
