The head coach steered Wolverhampton Wanderers to four wins, including comeback victories at home to Chelsea and against Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 at Wembley Stadium.

Seven matches and seven wins propelled Liverpool to the top of the table, with a league-high 22 goals scored and only three conceded.

Recovering from the derby defeat by Arsenal, Spurs rattled off five wins in a row in December, scoring 20 goals in total.

Among the five victories Sarri managed last month was a first defeat for the defending champions Manchester City, beaten 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Fans have been voting for their favourite since the shortlist was announced but the poll is now closed.
Votes from the public will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner, which will be announced on Friday 11 January.
